You'll work on climbing variations, sits, leg hangs, beginner inversions, transitions, spins, and longer combinations that connect movements seamlessly. Classes also include conditioning to develop the strength, grip, and flexibility needed for more advanced techniques.
At this level, you'll begin refining your execution, improving your flow, and exploring your own movement style while continuing to progress safely. HeadInTheSchuy provides individual guidance and progressions to help you build strong, consistent technique at your own pace.

Book this class →Our Open Pole sessions provide dedicated studio time for independent training in a safe and professional environment. Whether you're refining techniques from class, building strength, perfecting choreography, or preparing for a performance or competition, Open Pole gives you the freedom to practice at your own pace.
These sessions are intended for students who can train independently and safely. While a staff member may be present to supervise the studio, Open Pole is not an instructor-led class — coaching, spotting, or skill instruction is not provided.
For everyone's safety, participants must only practice skills they have previously learned and can perform confidently without assistance. Attempting new tricks, advanced drops, or movements beyond your current ability is not permitted during Open Pole.

Designed for all experience levels, this class combines active and passive stretching techniques to safely develop flexibility while building the strength needed to support it.
Each session focuses on key areas important for pole fitness, aerial arts, surfing, and everyday mobility — including the shoulders, back, hips, hamstrings, and splits. Through guided warm-ups, mobility exercises, strength drills, and targeted stretching, you'll improve your flexibility safely and effectively while reducing the risk of injury.
Whether your goal is achieving your first split, improving your backbend, or enhancing your overall movement quality, HeadInTheSchuy will provide modifications and progressions to suit your individual level.
